Here’s what to expect
Up to 150 women stay in our building each night. Women must be 18 years of age or older. There are no other requirements for staying in our emergency shelter, other than having no permanent housing.
Staff is available to help set goals and create a plan to achieve them, including exploring housing and employment options.
Doors Open at 3pm. Women can take showers, do laundry, and store belongings securely.
Meals are provided in our dining room free of charge.
Please arrive by 8pm.

Transitional Housing
Close to Home
Close to Home is an independent living bridge housing program within Dégagé Ministries building for women who are earning income and working towards permanent housing. Participants practice monthly saving, work to improve their credit score, and receive budget counseling.
Heartside Landings
Heartside Landings* is a transitional housing facility at 129 Jefferson SE designed to support residents who need place-based mental and physical health services. This program offers private or semi-private rooms for clients to live independently while they connect to resources supporting their needs. Residents pay a program fee to participate. Eligibility requires documented complex care level of behavioral health needs. Currently, there is a waiting list to join this program.
