Dégagé’s mission is to reflect the love of Christ to all who come through our doors by building relationships and offering programs that foster dignity and respect.
How is Dégagé funded?
The vast majority of Dégagé’s funding comes from individuals and churches. Only 11% of its costs are covered by government funding

Is Dégagé affiliated with any particular religion?
Dégagé Ministries is an ecumenical Christian organization. We are supported by many different religious and non-religious organizations.
How can I volunteer?
Do patrons need to participate in religious programs to receive services?
No, Dégagé does not require patrons to participate in religious programming to receive services.
How many employees does Dégagé have?
Dégagé currently has approximately 50 staff members. We also employ numerous patrons at any given time to help run the programs within our ministry. In addition, we rely heavily on volunteers to operate each of our programs daily.
Why does Dégagé charge a small fee for many of its services?
We believe that people feel more dignified when they have the opportunity to take care of their own needs and make personal decisions. For this reason, we attach a small fee for many of our services like meals, laundry, and locker rentals. For those who have limited or no income, we offer many opportunities a day to earn Dégagé Vouchers, which may be used for any of our services.
